Trust, in plain words

what we promise

• Encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Access to cloud storage is restricted to operating and protecting the service.
• We do not use your memories for advertising or AI training, and we do not sell your personal data.
• Local-first: Free lives on the phone; Keeper adds a high-quality optimized cloud copy (not necessarily original camera resolution).
• If Keeper ends, cloud copies remain recoverable for 90 days so you can renew or save memories to this phone; then cloud copies are deleted. You can export your data without renewing.

Photos are kept on your phone unless you become a Keeper. Nothing leaves without your choice. Uploads wait for Wi-Fi if you ask them to.

Keeper photos are stored with Cloudflare R2, and memory records with Google Firebase. Everything travels encrypted, and rests encrypted. Your library is protected by your account. Temporary signed links are used when the app retrieves your photos.

Authorized administrative access may be used only when necessary for security, maintenance, legal obligations, or support requested by you.
