Terms of MaM

1. What MaM is

MaM is an app for keeping personal memories: photos with place, weather, date and your own words. Some of it is free. MaM Keeper adds cloud backup and more room.

The sample story ('demo mode') is a fictional narrative illustrated with AI-generated imagery, provided for illustration only. It does not depict real persons or real personal data.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in safe. You must be 13 or older to create an account. If you are under 18, a guardian must accept these terms and any purchase for you.

3. Your memories are yours

You own everything you put into MaM. You give us only what we need to provide the service: the right to store, display and back up your content so you can see it everywhere. Nothing else. We never use your memories for advertising, training, or anything you did not ask for. MaM itself (the app, the art, the name) is ours.

4. MaM Keeper

MaM Keeper is a subscription bought through your device's app store. Trials, renewals and cancellation are handled by your store account. If you buy MaM Keeper in the EEA, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal, unless you asked for the service to start at once and accepted losing it. If you cancel: new cloud uploads stop after the paid billing period ends. Existing cloud copies remain available for 90 days so you can renew or save every memory to this phone. After 90 days, cloud copies are permanently deleted. Memories verified as saved locally remain in MaM unless the app or its data is removed. You may export your data without renewing. PDF photobooks remain a Keeper presentation feature. Keeper stores high-quality optimized cloud copies that may not preserve original file size or full camera resolution.

5. Being a good guest

Do not use MaM to store or share anything illegal, and do not try to break what we built. We may remove content or accounts that abuse the service. We would rather not; this exists for the worst cases only.

6. Ending things

You can delete your account anytime, inside the app (Settings, Delete account). What happens then is written in the Privacy policy, in plain words.

7. Honest limits

We build with care, but no software is perfect. MaM is provided as is. Where the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid for MaM Keeper in the last twelve months. Nothing here removes rights you cannot give away under law.

8. Changes

If we change these terms, we tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use MaM accepts the new terms.

9. The law between us

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. If you live in another country, you keep the mandatory consumer protections of your home country.

10. On Apple devices

These terms are an agreement between you and Nordkode, not Apple. Apple owes you no support or maintenance for MaM. Product claims, warranties and consumer requirements are our responsibility, not Apple's, as far as the law allows. Your license is personal, non-transferable, and covers Apple devices you own or control. If anyone claims MaM infringes their intellectual property, we handle it. You confirm you are not in a country under US export embargo, nor on a US denied-party list. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms.
